  • Sale of Thomassen Compression Systems for EUR 100mln to the UK listed company Charter International plc / Howden
  • Sale of the Citechma group of companies to an industrial investor
  • Ringfencing 4 industrial companies in connection with pauliana-procedures
  • Large debt restructuring with different syndicates and private banks

Theis Group

  • Acquisition of Fried. Gustav Theis Kaltwalzwerke GmbH, a leading cold rolling steel producer with a turnover of EUR 250mln and employing 990 people
  • The company was acquired out of insolvency, where agreements with the consortium banks and creditors resolved the situation and secured the long-term stability of the group

Ovako wire division

  • Acquisition of the wire division from Ovako, a group with EUR 1.1bln turnover, in a carve-out process for industrial investor Hombergh Holdings BV
  • Establishing the new steel group FNsteel with four production locations in Europe
  • The newly established group has EUR 350mln turnover, 800 employees and is processing 600.000 tonnes of steel per year

Kirin Agribio

  • Carve-out of the Agribio company from the Japanese listed Kirin conglomerate by H2 Equity Partners
  • Agribio is an international flower and potato breeder with approximatley EUR 120mln revenues
  • Subsequently divestment of French potato breeder Germicopa
